Car Issues

Well I had my first dead battery experience Saturday night. I had just clocked off, I think it was about 11pm and I walked to my car went to start it and there was nothing. I then looked at the switch to turn the lights on and realized it was still in the on position. Of course I don't know how to open my hood haha and I really don't know how to jump a car and I don't have jumper cables so I call my parents and then I just start crying, why I am not too sure. So finally I calm down and track someone down that is still at work and they give me jumper cables and I get it all hooked up to someones car and nothing happens. I am thinking the car is just dead but then one of the chefs comes out there hits the gas a few times and does some other stuff and my car finally starts whewww. At this same time my dad drives up and then we raced home, I won :)

I'm assuming your father has since shown you how to pop the hood and jump a car and I'm assuming he'll be purchasing an emergency kit for your car as well..???

Or, he could just hand over his old car now ;-)

That does suck though - it's stressful. I wouldn't want to be in the parking lot at 11 p.m. though with a car that doesn't work. Might want to add some nunchucks to your list also!

Gotta love car problems. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere where I could just use public transportation. Glad you got it figured out and got home safely.
