New Semester

The spring semester started on Wednesday the 7th as did my new internship. My schedule is pretty packed for the next few months, with 2 jobs and 16 credit hours. My classes are all Junior/Senior level classes and I love finally being in concentration classes and actually learning things that are useful.

I have one class Monday/Wednesday and that is a Business Ethics class. It is really interesting so far but I am curious to see how our first quiz goes because everything we have done so far is very much up to your own opinion.

I have four classes on Tuesday and three on Thursday. On Tuesday I have a Calc lab, yes calc, and yes it has been 3 years since I have taken it. Not sure why we have to take this class but we do, we shall see how it goes. After that I have Investments and Portfolio Management, then Marketing Research, and my last class is Personal Selling. So far, so good. I have a HUGE project in both of my marketing classes, 45 minute long presentations.. It will be great experience but is a huge jump from classes with only tests to classes that require so much participation.

I am also taking an online class, Operations. I like this class better than the other online classes I have taken in the past because this one has dvd's of the professor actually teaching the material.

My internship is going great so far, I love the people I work with and the tasks I am given actually require me to think, which is awesome. My other part-time job is going.. the department I work in is going to be phased out within the next few months and they have started to cut our hours, give away our work and it has become rather stressful. Until they completely cut our job, I am going to stay around just to make some extra money, since the internship is unpaid, probably until around March. So until then I work around 20-25 hours a week, take classes, participate in AKPsi and try to have a life. So far I am making it...

Sounds like you're going to be a busy girl this semester! Don't worry, all that hard work will pay off in the end :)
