Fall

I love Fall! I know a lot of people do but I think I take it to a whole other weird level. I have an obsession with pumpkins, pumpkin flavorings, pumpkin scents, etc. This obsession lasts for about 3 months and then I move on. (I think that might be why I like it so much, because its only available for a few months a year.) Every year around September I start getting very excited for latte's and cakes and candles and pumpkin carving and of course cooler weather and the leaves changing colors! Since today was the first official day of Fall and my dear mother's birthday I thought it was the perfect time to make a Pumpkin Layer Cake. Let me tell you, it was delicious. I highly recommend everyone make it tomorrow. And that is not a joke. I will be making this again at Thanksgiving and probably every holiday thereafter. (Just a side note, the recipe calls for Pecans but we/I am not a fan of pecans so I used chocolate chips!)
