DISNEY...

A place where dreams really do come true! I had the most MAGICAL spring break in the beginning of March in Florida! My trip began with a quick visit to South of the Border then a short stay at Grammie's which involved some beach time, some shopping time and of course time for Grammie to cook us some wonderful home cooked meals :) I even got ahold of one of her recipes and will be attempting it very soon! Then we headed to Lake Mary and stayed with my friend Sarah's aunt. Her aunt also happens to be a travel agent and got us FREE 3-day park hopper passes to Disney and meal passes for lunch AND dinner! We couldn't thank her enough for all the free stuff!

At South of the Border

First Day:
Magic Kingdom. I haven't been to the Disney parks in probably about 10 years so it all looked new again to me. We may have been some of the oldest people in the park but we probably had the most fun. We rode Space Mountain 5 times and Splash Mountain 3 times! The rides were so much fun but I really enjoyed meeting my all time favorite princess Belle! We took a ton of pictures and want to go back already!

Second Day:
Animal Kingdom and Epcot. I went to Animal Kingdom about two years ago at Christmas time but it was great to go again with friends and in 75 degree weather! It was beautiful as always and it looks just like you stepped into Africa or Asia, it is so crazy how realistic everything there looks. The Safari and the Roller Coaster were my favorites. On the safari the giraffe came right up to our safari car and walked in front of it, so neat! I went and saw Festival of the Lion King, such a great show, and got called on stage!! Kind of embarrassing, I had to make an elephant noise, yeah didn't know what that sounded like! We went to Epcot that night, I wasn't too impressed, the food was amazing but the rides lacked the excitement I was looking for. I'll give them credit for Mission:Space, it was intense!

Third Day:
MGM and Magic Kingdom, again and Downtown Disney. MGM was pretty boring, Rocking Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror were fun, but sooo short. I wish they would make the rides a bit longer! We went back to Magic Kingdom that afternoon and rode all of our favorite rides again aka Space Mountain! That night we headed to Downtown Disney to buy a few things which would of been more enjoyable but it was POURING down rain. Can't complain too much, it was really the only bad storm we encountered. But by the end of that night we were all VERY tired and ready for some sleep and probably a foot massage. Ok I won't bore you anymore with a day breakdown, here are some pictures!
