Bye Raleigh!

Well I am officially jobless and homeless (well sort of...) and I am now very motivated to find a real job. Until then I will be living in good ole' Jacksonville with my parents. 

While packing up my apartment it reminded me of all the fun times I have had over the past 4 years. I decided I should share some of these moments on Courtney's World. Here are some of the good times from the past 4 years in Raleigh....

I am really going to miss Raleigh and college life! But it's time to move on to bigger and better things. Fingers crossed I find an awesome (or maybe just a semi-okay) job soon!

Personal Chef

I think my parent's are happy to have me home only because I make them dinner every night. But it is a win-win for me as well because 1) I love to cook 2) I can try new recipes and 3) I don't have to buy the food! I have been home for 2 nights and we have had 2 new meals. 

Friday night we had a chicken stir-fry with rice from the rice machine (I love rice machine rice- so good!) It was one of those meals where you just find things in the fridge and throw it together and it turns out amazing.

Last night I made homemade pizza. I love pizza but homemade pizza is on another level. I had the whole family in the kitchen helping which was a lot of fun. We decided to make 2 pizzas, one with meat and one with veggies. The meat pizza had a red sauce and was topped with mozzarella, parmesan, mini pepperoni's and goat cheese.  The veggie pizza had an EVOO and garlic sauce with mozzarella, parmesan, spinach, tomatoes, black olives and feta.

Everyone loved the pizza! I am hoping that instead of ordering pizza on the weekends my family might start making it more often!

Tonight we are grilling pork chops and I am roasting a variety of veggies! Yum!

New Home

Well not for me but for most of my stuff. Once I find my camera uploader I will post more pictures from my actual camera. Everyone needs to see just how creepy this storage unit is. And by creepy I mean it looks just like a morgue.

Pink Wall

One of the joys of moving out of my apartment was painting my walls back white. I loved my pink wall while I lived in my apartment, it looked great in my room, but man was that wall hard to cover.

I might be crazy but I would totally paint another wall/piece of furniture that color again. I just love that shade of pink!

My Obsession

Cupcakes. More specifically pudding filled cupcakes. I recently made these ones for my roommate's birthday. Not to pat myself on the back or anything but they were delicious. Thank you to Aunt Diane for introducing me to these!

Courtney's World

Welcome to Courtney's World! Or I guess I should say welcome back (Life at NC State is officially gone!) I decided on Courtney's World because, well, everyone who knows me knows I live in my own world. I will now be using this blog to document my random adventures on my permanent vacation (hah!).... oh umm I mean my job search. Until next time...

Update

So I still haven't decided on a blog name. Honestly I haven't really thought about it since my last post. I have been very busy traveling from Raleigh to home with random stops in Williamsburg and an upcoming trip to DC planned! I am really enjoying my summer but I know I need to find a job soon....

I have so many pictures and stories to update everyone on but my computer currently will not turn on (the power cord is dead I believe) so until I figure out what to do about that no pictures.

This morning Michelle came up and we picked up their new puppy, Louis! He is adorable and such a sweetie! I took sooo many pictures but sadly cannot show anyone yet. Check out her Facebook page for pictures of him!

Hopefully next time I update I will have a working computer!
