Today is the last day of my last summer vacation. I don't know whether to cry and lay in bed all day or get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather today?! I think I am going to chose to go outdoors, and I probably should complete my list of errands before my schedule gets crazy hectic. This year I do not have as many classes but of course I decided to take on the responsibility of Vice President of Alumni Relations in my professional business fraternity. So add that to 13 class hours and working 15-20 hours, I will be a busy girl. Guess I should also add in job hunting ahh getting so stressed and it all hasn't even started yet. Must talk about something different before I have a panic attack...
I am actually getting a new roommate today. My fourth roommate moved out in May because she graduated and moved to Charlotte for work. We were informed in late June that we were getting a random roommate. Turns out that she didn't get into the program at State that she wanted to so she wasn't going to move in. She did, however, have a lease and needed someone to fill it. She had been searching on Craig's List (I was not happy about this at all- a random girl, finding us a random roommate!) but was not all that successful. So move in day was on Saturday and no one moved in, sigh of relief. Well yesterday I got a text from a friend from High School asking me about rent prices for my unit. Turns out she was having issues in her two bedroom apartment and was transferring to a four bedroom. BOOM it hit me, Maggie can live with us! So this afternoon Maggie will be moving in and I am so excited that we don't have to deal with a Craig's List rando anymore! I have actually known Maggie since elementary school, her parents live down the road from mine, and we use to play soccer together back in the day and again in high school. I am glad that this situation is all figured out and I look forward to getting to know Maggie again.
This past weekend I was in Williamsburg! I originally was set to attend a conference and planned a mini-vacation around it but the conference got moved to UVA so I just decided to skip out on it and visit with the family. I had fun hanging with everyone, especially the kids. They are too cute and constantly changing. Every time I go to visit they are doing something different or in Ava's case talking about something new. I love hanging out and crafting with Ava, she is probably the most precious kid in the world, although, I might be biased because she is a mini Zsa Zsa. We made a cookie jar (see Michelle's blog) and the roommates loved it! It is sitting on our kitchen counter next to our sugar, coffee, etc jars. Hopefully I will get to see everyone again before Thanksgiving, schedules permitting. Thanks again for letting me stay with you Michelle and Chris!
I never did blog about it but last week but I did do the hydration station and it was awesome!! So relaxing and your skin is so moisturized after a session. I will probably be attending a few times a month!
