Weekend in a nutshell

I had a very eventful weekend starting with First Friday on Friday night. I had heard of it before but had never attended, it was a very neat experience. On the first Friday of the month, all of the art galleries in downtown Raleigh open up their doors to the public. Everything is free from the admission, to the snacks, and the wine. I saw some awesome artwork and even got to meet a few artists. If I had the money I would of bought several pieces. My favorite was a painting of the NYC skyline. It was at least 8 feet long and had a glass overlay. If I had an extra $10,000 laying around I would of bought it on the spot, maybe one day (hah!). I definitely want to make First Friday a monthly tradition!

Yesterday I was in Greenville visiting my best friends. I honestly don't know what I would do without them, they make my heart smile. We have all made it through college at different schools but I think it would be a perfect scenario if we all ended up in the same town for our future careers. A girl can only hope..

All in all I had a wonderful weekend and I am looking forward to the week ahead. Tomorrow I have an appointment for at a hydration station. It is suppose to moisturize my skin and improve the appearance of skin tone and texture. It looks like a space ship and changes colors. I am expecting it to be similar to a sauna feeling but the bed you lay on even massages you while your in there! Should be an interesting experience- I will post about it later this week.

Richmond does First Fridays too and I've always wanted to go. Guess I should buckle down and go already!

I'm anxious to hear about this hydration station...
